McADAMS EXTENDED LEARNING PROGRAM (ELP)

McAdams Extended Learning Program (ELP) helps youths who have either completed their expulsion time while enrolled at McAdams and are not ready to attend public schools or those youths who may not be college-bound after graduation and are struggling because of their behavior, inadequate social skills, or low academic scores.  As McAdams partners with local business owners and technical colleges, ELP students can complete their core classes and utilize electives designed to help them pursue job skills and work internships to prepare them for the workforce.

The Extended Learning Program helps:

  • Youths showing antisocial behavior that is affecting their academics

  • Youths with emotional behavioral disorders (EBD) that may be preventing their social success.

  • Students who choose to enter the workforce instead of college upon graduating from high school.
